...that this awesome chair was in the middle of a beautiful field of long grasses...or nestled among some trees...or surrounded by the colorful autumn leaves. Wouldn't it be awesome! I think so. And guess what is even better...it only cost me $10! I was so excited about my new purchase that I had to snap a few shots. These are just on my driveway, so they are lacking a bit, but I can't wait to try out my new find on a shoot soon! My head is spinning with ideas!! Now, if I can just figure out how to hide it so my hubby doesn't see it and wonder if I have lost my mind!
I love the fun color, but it is also awesome in black and white!
I went on a shopping spree this weekend and found myself a new scarf for when it cools down a bit. Of course, I am always looking for ways that I can incorporate items into my photos.
If you haven't noticed, I have been away from my computer for a few days. I have been enjoying a girls' weekend away from home. I also took a break from my camera, so no new pics from my trip. Here is one from a few months back. I love how it documents the way his ears flop over when he wears his goggles (upside down).
Well, technically she is not a newborn...she is 4 weeks old. But even at 4 weeks old she has not yet hit the 7 pound mark. Mom says that she is sweetest, easiest baby ever. She sure did not like to get her pictures taken though. Can you blame her? We stripped off all her clothes, maneuvered her into uncomfortable positions, and kept moving her just as she was nodding off to sleep. Poor baby! But just look at how sweet she is!! I am just starting to edit these, but here are a few for Mom.
I'm not normally one to post pictures of myself--especially ones that are so up-close and personal. But since I am the photographer and this is as far as my arms could reach, this is all I have. I needed a new avatar picture for some other sites that I belong to. I was pretty happy with how this turned out...all things considered.
These were fun!!! I went out to take a few snaps of the kids throwing the football with Daddy, but the light was too far gone to get anything great. So...I decided to try a few silhouettes. I think they turned out pretty cool.
Here are some of the football action:
Then they started to get a little goofy.

Check out this bee that is headed right for her little "bee"-hind.
This is one of my all time favorite photos. He was just so proud of catching this tinly little fish, which just happened to be one of the biggest ones we caught that day.
